At 26 August 2025 PM Modi Inaguarate production facility of Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car E-vitara and Li-oin bettery plant in Gujarat – the Suzuki Motor Plant in Hansalpur, Gujarat.
Facility is over 640 acres, housing three plants each with a combined capacity of 750,000 units/ year.
Company also announce to investment 70,000 crores in upcoming years.
The EV-battery plant support PM modi’s ‘Make in India’ campaign of become independent manufacturer of EV Batteries.
